Do you like the Avalanche? Chevy hopes so, as the new Silverado's front grille and slanted headlights emulate its funky sibling. But that isn't all that's similar. Its front fenders and hood also appear much like the Av while the new pickup's wheel arches are fortunately less radical, but still squared and bulged slightly with no plastic cladding. To its credit GM has introduced a new somewhat diluted alternative Avalanche this season, without the controversial lower body trim.
