Tech, tech and more tech, but these models make them easy to use

Subaru Ascent

The big new Ascent was highly anticipated and is already a hot commodity here in Canada. Now WardsAuto shows that the three-row SUV is earning the love south of the border as well.

In particular, the editors noted the premium materials that cover the interior, a spiffy engine startup routine that temporarily hijacks all three screens on the instrument panel, and of course the much bigger cabin space than is found on any other other Subaru.

Obviously aware of the clientele that goes for its vehicles, Subaru has included hard buttons for things like the audio volume setting, applications and navigation. All three rows get USB ports, there are 19, count ‘em 19 cupholders to choose from for your coffee, there’s an excellent harmon/kardon audio system. Subaru has also included its EyeSight collision-avoidance system.
