Chevrolet TrailBlazer

The all-new small SUV from Chevrolet makes the list on its debut, helped by the fact it comes with quite a bit of standard equipment for the price. This includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and several drive-assist technologies (for example automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, forward collision alert and that Teen Driver technology so beloved by nervous parents).
Judges also liked how intuitive and user-friendly the vehicle’s systems are, starting with the Infotainment 3 Plus system accessed via the standard 7-inch (or optional 8-inch) screen.
The new model slots into the carmaker’s lineup between the Trax and Equinox models (over at Buick the new Encore GX is filling the same in-between role in that company’s lineup). The newbie gives Chevrolet a solid trio of products at the small end of the utility model spectrum.
For those willing to spend a little more, know that the TrailBlazer can also be had with all-wheel drive in its Activ trim - which Auto123 will be reviewing in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
