From a styling standpoint, it truly does march to the beat of a different drummer. Some absolutely love it from every angle, while others will find it too aggressively angled. Me... well, I am one who enjoys something that dares to be a little different. With that in mind I'm not that fond of the styling of the new BMW M5, finding it a bit bland and much too safe. The 4porte is so... not safe. It's a love it or hate it statement that won't likely make a great deal of friends on this side of the pond. Just the same the new Q-Porte is extremely slippery with a Cd of 0.31. The Maser is relatively compact in size too, at 4550 mm in length. Add a wheel base of 2650 mm for high driving stability and a very comfortable ride, and you have the mix for one of the worlds best sport/luxury sedans. The long wheel base also adds up to a commodious interior. As far as color choices go, the range has been widened to include 14 colors.

The Quattroporte may not be quite as revolutionary as its ground shaking 1960's ancestor, and it is definitely not as large and regal as the early 80's emissary of the royal magistrates and oil rich tycoons, yet it does represent itself well. Its modern interpretation of the wind-cheating wedge hunkered down in an aggressive and athletic stance is stunning, while still somehow maintaining a certain aloof poise.
