2017 Acura NSX ($189,900)
The all-new 2017 Acura NSX features a sport hybrid powertrain that combines two electric motors with a twin-turbo V6 for a total power output of 573 hp, all managed by Acura’s Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive system. It was named 2017 Performance Car of the Year by Road & Track.

2017 Chevrolet Corvette ($64,695)
Chevy gives you the choice between the base 460-hp Corvette Stingray, the Corvette Grand Sport, which delivers the same power but with a lightweight chassis conceived for the racetrack, and the fearsome Corvette Z06 which comes with a 650-hp engine that can take the car from a stop to 100 km/h in all of 3 seconds!
2017 Dodge Viper ($129,995)
Equipped with an 8.4L V10 with a maximum output of 645 hp, the Viper is still considered by many the ultimate American supercar. It comes in three versions (GTC, GTS and ACR), as well as the already-sold-out 25th Anniversary Limited Editions, and Dodge is offering a customization program. Don’t delay, however: the Viper will disappear after 2017.
2017 Mercedes-AMG GT ($133,600)
This rear-wheel-drive German missile makes imperial use of a 465-hp V8 twin-turbo in its base-model version, while the S version spikes the needle to 503 hp. Designed entirely by AMG, the GT sports a look that is as breathtaking as its performance. And wait until you hear it!
2017 Nissan GT-R ($125,000)
The car nicknamed “Godzilla” is indeed a terrifying creature, with its monstrous acceleration and fighter-jet-style handling capabilities. It can also lay claim to having performed the fastest recorded drift in the world. Revised for 2017, it was subjected to our road testing on two occasions. 2017 Porsche 911 ($102,200)
The final sports coupe on our list is certainly not the least. In fact, it’s possibly the most famous around the world, thanks to its rich history on the road and in motorsports. We bestowed the title of “2017 GT Coupe of the Year” on the Porsche 911. No fewer than 15 versions are available when factoring in the S, GTS, Targa, Turbo, R and GT3 series, the rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive systems, plus the limited Black Edition.
