Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid
Subaru, a pioneer in the domain of electric mobility, finds itself playing catch-up in 2018. And so, over a decade after producing its first electrified vehicle, Subaru will be presenting the plug-in hybrid version of its popular Crosstrek small SUV.
Subaru says the model will feature its new StarDrive technology, the basis of which is a 2L direct-injection BOXER engine working conjointly with two electric motors. All-electric range will be in the area of 27 km. No surprise, the company’s lauded and ubiquitous Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive will be in place, and the transmission will be a new Lineartronic CVT.
