Jeep Red Bare
For all you diesel lovers out there: Jeep hasn’t forgotten about you with the Easter Safari concepts. In that light, they will be delivering this, a more aggressive take on the Gladiator Rubicon fit with the 3.0-litre EcoDiesel V6 good for 260 hp and 442 lb-ft. There’s also a 91:1 crawl ratio and Dana 44 axles both front and back with a 4.88 ratio.
Much has been done to separate the Red Bare from other Gladiators, including special black graphics and grille, gold accents around the tailgate graphic and hood decals as well as blacked-out wheels and hood borrowed from the Gladiator Mojave. The obvious stylistic addition is the sport bar mounted in the cargo bed, but the more interesting one is perhaps the “half doors”, which have no frames above the beltline. If you want to have a more open-air experience than this, you’re going to have to remove the doors completely. Which, this being a member of the Wrangler family, you can do.
Inside, you’ll find black leather seats with red stitching and tartan inserts.
