Only 250 units will be manufactured annually, which is a major drop-off from the 4,000 GTs Ford built and sold in 2005-2006. The latter are highly sought after by collectors; in fact, they are some of the rare modern performance cars to increase in value over time.
The new Ford GT will enter production later in 2015, and deliveries in select markets will begin next year.
