Best Compact Car: 2022 Honda Civic
The trusty Civic has just been named Canada’s best-selling car for the 24th year running, and while that’s not as meaningful as in the days before SUVs sucked away huge portions of the buying public, it still means something.
Americans love Honda’s compact car too, and so do the folks at KBB.
What KBB liked:
- Extensive redesign and modernization job carried out by Honda for 2022
- Good feel inside, and good feel on the road from a truly mature product
- Quite sporty but still really practical
- Reasonable pricing, especially for what you get
- Good power from the available engines
- Available manual transmissions
- Roomier inside than before
- Comfortable seating
- Build quality
- Base models reasonably well-equipped
