For its second edition, the Prince Edward Island International Motoring Festival (IMF) is pulling out all the stops: it has teamed up with the renowned Cavendish Beach Music Festival.
From July 7-11, visitors will be able to peruse trough extraordinary vehicles such as Porsches, Mustangs and Lamborghinis, while hearing some of the world's top country music stars.
This year, the event will be celebrating the year of the Mustang and will offer even more diversity than the 2009 edition. From race cars to genuine vintage, super bikes, American muscle cars and motorcycles, it is much more than a regular car show.
For the occasion, the first 300 people to register a vehicle for the IMF will receive a pass to attend concerts at the Music Festival. Registered vehicles must be antiques, classics, collectibles or of particular interest and must be approved by the IMF selection committee. The first 200 registered can also obtain a second pass for half the regular price.
Great activities
Many events are scheduled during the weekend. Pro stock car racing drivers will be on site and will be signing autographs, there will be a model exposition and a hobby show, Ford mechanic clinics, line dancing, even radio control car racing on custom-made tracks.
During the prize award ceremony, $1,500 will be divided between the People's Choice Award and the Best of Show Award.
