The inaugural Korean Grand Prix - the race which some thought would never happen - is set to play a key role in the outcome of an increasingly tense world championship battle.
On Thursday, the drivers involved in the championship battle recreated a famous scene.
As the 1986 world championship fight came to a head in Adelaide, the four title protagonists – Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, Nigel Mansell and Nelson Piquet – posed on the pit wall for a media photograph.
Two and a half decades later, the five drivers in the running for the 2010 crown - Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Mark Webber, Jenson Button and Sebastian Vettel - posed on the pit wall for the same sort of photograph with Bernie Ecclestone.
Sebastian Vettel was not even born when the 1986 photo was taken!
The Hermann Tilke-designed track of Korea is an anti-clockwise circuit with a real mix of high and medium-speed corners, three long straights and genuine overtaking opportunities.
