Renault May Want to Return, But Does Anyone Care?

This is a nice example of the revolutionary Citroen DS20, that was later followed by the DS21. Both featured an ultra-smooth hydra-pneumatic suspension that could be raised or lowered depending on road surfaces as well as a headlight system that turned in the direction of the car.

Do you like French cars? Most Canadian's think that they're a little odd. Except for a select few they were radically shaped, underpowered and bereft of traditional North American features. Yet no matter how odd the majority felt they were, there is a specific niche they filled that is now completely void.

Remember the Citroen DS20 and 21? They were a fabulous cars, with an ultra-smooth hydra-pneumatic suspension that could raise or lower upon command depending on the road surface. Their headlights would turn with the front wheels to point in the direction you were going - way ahead of their time. They looked ahead of their time too. What about the Peugeot 505? That was an extremely popular car that fit into the North American market perfectly. Renault's tiny Le Car had a cavernous hatch that could fit an entire drum kit. I know, as I loaded up my drummer's before every gig.
