McLaren has just started building the new 570S Coupe from its Sports Series at the McLaren Sport Production Centre in Woking, England. The first unit is already in the hands of its proud owner, and more than 1,000 others have been ordered.
Pricing for the 570S Coupe is set at £143,250 (approx. $287,000).
McLaren’s Sports Series will also feature the 540C Coupe and possibly a Spider (convertible) variant. When the full family is complete by 2018, it is projected to more than double the annual volume of McLaren to 4,000+ cars per year.
The Sports Series joins the Ultimate Series and Super Series in McLaren’s lineup.
