Speed freaks are in for a treat with the newest version of the Bugatti Veyron: 199 – additional – horsepower. This means the 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse as it's called will boast a total of 1200 horsepower.
Unveiled at the recent Beijing auto show, this cabriolet, thanks to its performances – 0-100 km/h in 2.6s and 410 km/h top speed – is the fastest of its category. And despite the increase of power, to the delight of the eco-minded Bugatti fans, the W16 7.9-litre engine now has better fuel economy.
Each of the 300 units also comes with new rear spoiler and removable windbreak, to enhance the experience of driving 200 km/h with no roof over your head, and unlimited customization possibilities so your Bugatti is like no other.
But then, what do you expect from a car that costs well over 2 million dollars (1.8 million euros)?
