Morgan, that still builds its Plus 4 and 8 frames out of wood (ash, to be exact), startled the auto enthusiast world when it introduced the neo-classically modern Aero, with its aluminum body and chassis.
Controversially styled as well, the Aero 8 GT Coupé is more than just a hardtop on an Aero 8. First and foremost the top is made of lightweight carbon-fiber, to increase rigidity and reduce weight. The new coupe also gets a healthy increase in power, offering the most current 4.6-L BMW V8 for 330-hp over the previous version's 286.
Add to this a race-tuned exhaust system, OZ alloy wheels and a suspension that is reportedly sharper and more reactive, and the classic-looking speedster transforms into an authentic racing car replica. Total production is set at a scant 15, painted in the team's blue and silver racing colors.
