Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) of Canada is recalling 7,819 Fiat 500 cars from the 2012-2016 model years due to a transmission issue.
On certain vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, clutch diaphragm springs may crack or become damaged, which could result in the driver being unable to shift gears or potentially result in a loss of propulsion.
FCA dealers will install a pedal travel limiter and pedal switch to fix the problem.
