On 2,314 brand new 2014 Honda Civics, some of the tires may have been damaged during the mounting process, resulting in a tear in the bead of the tire. This could result in rapid air loss and/or tire failure, which could increase the risk of a crash.
Affected owners should take their Civic to their local Honda dealer in order to have the tires inspected and replaced as necessary.
