10 (tied) — Mitsubishi Outlander
The Mitsubishi Outlander is showing its age when compared to others in the segment, this despite esthetic changes that were made to it earlier this decade. On the other hand, it is one of the only entrants in the category to offer a V6 engine and a 3,500-lb towing capacity. An interesting plus this year is the addition of the long-awaited PHEV plug-in hybrid version, although that new variant doesn’t come cheap.
