9 – Jeep Cherokee
The Cherokee is a popular choice for compact SUV buyers, but in good part that’s due to the nameplate, to the brand and to the vehicle’s undeniable off-road chops. Because when it comes to refinement, it lags behind – and that definitely hinders it in a class that now caters to an increasingly urban clientele. It also suffers from a mediocre reputation for reliability, although we wouldn’t say it performs catastrophically in this regard. There’s a fair chance we’ll be seeing a new version come along shortly to replace the current edition, which dates to 2014. Patience is in order, we’d say.
Here are specifications for the 2018 Cherokee.
