Subaru Forester
The Subaru brand is often recognized for its rallying exploits with its mythical WRX STI, but we shouldn't forget its “regular” vehicles. You know, those legends of weekend warrior-ing whose fans are legendarily loyal. In certain parts of the country, Subarus are ubiquitous, and considering that every one comes with AWD, that’s not really that shocking.
In the compact SUV category, the Forester is actually a relatively quiet member, though its standing is good: it offers very convincing performance on and off the road.
By the way, for 2022, the Forester also gets the Wilderness treatment applied to the Outback wagon earlier this summer.
