Kia EV3
We’re pretty excited at Auto123 about the arrival of this smaller EV, and have been since we first drove it in Spain last year.
Kia makes a play for the urban-oriented market with the EV3, which it proudly debuted for North America at the recent 2026 New York Auto Show. The subcompact SUV brings the bold design language of the larger EV9 into a much more affordable and maneuverable package. It is expected to be a major volume seller for Kia Canada.
The EV3 offers two battery options: 58.3 kWh or 81.4 kWh. The larger battery is estimated to deliver a range of up to 482 km. While it uses a 400V architecture rather than the 800V found in its larger siblings, it still supports respectable fast-charging speeds.
The 2027 Kia EV3 is slated to arrive in Canadian showrooms by late summer 2026.
