Jeep Grand Cherokee L
Meanwhile over at Jeep, the SUV specialists decided to expand the Grand Cherokee lineup with an L (L for Long) version. The mission of this extended version of the popular 4x4 is to poach sales away from the leaders of this three-row mid-size category.
For the moment, the only engines available are well-known to the public, as Jeep continues to rely on the well-known 3.6L Pentastar V6 and 5.7L HEMI V8, two engines that are well-suited to this type of vehicle and to the uses owners put it to.
But where does electrification fit into Jeep’s plans with its Grand Cherokee? Glad you asked. The regular-wheelbase Grand Cherokee will have it! Why not the L, we say.
