Subaru Ascent

Based on the brand's global platform, the Subaru Ascent has this advantage over the others: it drives almost like a large wagon. And Subaru, as you may know, is a master of that type of vehicle, having sort of pioneered the wagon/SUV movement with the Outback in the mid-90s.
The larger Ascent benefits from the same turbocharged powertrain found in the Legacy GT or Outback XT, based around a flat-4 teamed up with a CVT transmission and the all-wheel drive that Subaru and its fans love so much, with reason.
