The GM trio (GMC Acadia, Buick Enclave and Chevrolet Traverse)
General Motors is sticking to its three-model strategy, and in fact you could even include here the brand-new Cadillac XT6 SUV, which is essentially a GMC Acadia gone luxury.
The big American manufacturer offers several engine configurations for its trio, including a naturally aspirated 4-cylinder, a 4-cylinder turbo and a 3.6L V6. Which one of the trio consumers choose will likely be based on budget restrictions. We should mention that the GMC Acadia has been thoroughly overhauled for 2020.
From our review of the GMC Acadia AT4:
“The only brand within the General Motors family to produce only SUVs, GMC was obliged to gives its midsize model a gentle-to-moderate makeover, and that it has done. As for the AT4 badge, it aligns the model properly with the current vogue for off-road-friendly vehicles.”
