The Ascent gets a discreet mid-cycle makeover this year. Nothing to write home about, but to keep consumers interested, nothing beats a light sweep to freshen up the formula.
Subaru's largest vehicle benefits from the same turbocharged powertrain as in the Legacy GT or Outback XT, the flat-4 that's teamed with a CVT and the all-wheel drive system so dear to Subaru. Its more car-like ride is definitely its greatest quality, even though it offers a similar size to other vehicles in the class.
