The 2023 Nissan Sentra S is the most affordable compact sedan in Canada this year, by a slim margin over the Elantra Essential. However, to enjoy the most-affordable Sentra in the offering, you have to be willing to shift gears yourself.
While not as sharp a performer as a Nissan Z, the Sentra is certainly one of the brand's most enjoyable cars to drive right now.
Which helps explain the existence of a Canadian racing series that uses the model. That would be the Nissan Sentra Cup. In fact, the versions modified for the racing series are based on this S trim, with only the more basic equipment included compared to the more expensive versions in the model lineup.
