The new Volkswagen Golf was unveiled earlier in 2019 with an evolutionary design, but above all a strong injection of new on-board technology. Performance enthusiasts will be pleased to learn that the Wolfsburg-based automotive giant still intends to offer a multitude of performance-oriented versions, with the GTI at the top of the list. The eighth generation to carry that name will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2020.
Unfortunately, this imminent appearance doesn't change the timeframe for the arrival of the new Golf in Canada: somewhere at the end of 2021, as a 2022 model. Patience, patience!
