2025 Toyota 4Runner
After what seems like decades (and almost has been), the popular 4Runner is getting a complete redesign for 2025.
A turbo 4-cylinder making 278 hp and shared with the Tacoma is standard, but for the first time the 4Runner can be hybridized with an i-Force Max powertrain that delivers an output of 326 hp and 456 lb-ft.
An all-new Trailhunter trim joins stalwarts like the Limited, TRD Off Road and Pro, and it adds all sort of goodies (advanced OME shocks, Toyo Open Country A/T tires, higher ride height, disconnecting sway bar) to make for an overlanding-ready rig right off the showroom floor.
When is the 2025 Toyota 4Runner coming?
The next-generation 4Runner should be at North American Toyota dealers starting this coming fall.
