2021 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring PHEV
American luxury carmaker Lincoln still has some ground to conquer before declaring victory, but already the Aviator has generated a lot of interest and positive reviews. More recently, the 2020 Lincoln Corsair is coming to fill the empty space in the lineup left by the departing MKC.
Meantime, the company is doubling down to try to draw in motorists who are considering a move to electrified vehicles. Meet the plugin hybrid version of it brand-new Corsair. With its e-AWD system, total output of 266 hp and an all-electric-powered range of 40 km, the Grand Touring version of the Corsair compact SUV has the potential to go places.
An eclectic one-two punch from Audi
The German manufacturer not only brought the RS 6 Avant wagon to Los Angeles (the first of its kind on our continent), it also poured a little extra oil on the fire with the presentation of the RS Q8, a spicier version of the Q8 SUV launched earlier this year. With 591 hp to play with from its twin-turbo V8, the coupe-style utility model sets off in pursuit of the other high-performance SUVS currently on the market. It should make for quite a show.
The other significant presentation by Audi this year is the Sportback version its electric e-tron model. Providing two different forms of the same electric SUV is a canny yet logical way for Audi to target a wider audience.
