2— Sport Pesa Racing Point F1

Here was one unique presentation that actually took place the day before Media Day at the Toronto Auto Show. The new Sport Pesa Racing Point Formula 1 team (which replaces Force India)is largely financed by Canadian interests and directed by Laurence Stroll; the group used the occasion of the show to officially present its team and drivers to members of the press.

This is the first time in history that an F1 team presents a new vehicle outside of the U.K., where by tradition all introductions take place. Another oddity for the domain is that it’s also a team composed only of North American drivers, namely Quebec's Lance Stroll and Sergio Perez from Mexico.

With its cars running on a Mercedes engine, the team is already aiming to be among the top four teams next season and is gunning for a top-3 finish in 2020. We can only wish them good luck. And for those who wonder why this car was not presented in Montreal, host city for the  Canadian Grand Prix, Laurence Stroll explained that the car was not ready.
