3- BMW Z4
It wasn’t in Detroit, mainly because BMW was not there at all. Nor was it in Montreal. Rather it was Toronto that got the privilege of unveiling the new Z4.
With sales starting in March, this Z4 will turn many heads. It shares its chassis with the new Toyota Supra, and in fact both cars are built on the same assembly line in Austria.
The model on display at the Toronto Auto Show is a Z4 M40i version that will arrive a little later and is equipped with a 382-hp 3.0L inline-six turbo engine. There will also be a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo unit delivering 255 hp. An 8-speed automatic transmission will be the only option available. So no, there won’t be a manual gearbox.
