The good folks at Bavarian automaker BMW are also preparing to fire off a second volley in its electric offensive, after the urban i3 and the rechargeable hybrid - and exotic - i8. Actually, the latter model is no longer available, while the small i3 is no longer a youthful model despite its unique design.

But until the i4 sedan and the iX utility model arrive, the BMW i3 is still fighting the good fight in the EV arena, thanks to its unique interior, carbon-fibre chassis and maximum range of 246 km.
