Are you a fan of Jaguar’s most recent aesthetic innovations?
Well, Vizualtech isn’t, the company that’s reputed for its ever-so-stylish automotive projects. They believe that, like them, many Jaguar aficionados pine for the sensual curves of the XK 120, Mark II, XJ6 and Type E.
As this year marks the 50th anniversary of the Jaguar Type E, they decided to pay homage to mythical 1960s machine with the Growler R, and XKR whose body is inspired by the Type E.
Style-wise, the results are simply splendid, with an oval grille, multi-spoke wheels in keeping with the current tastes and modernized tail lamps and exhaust that still manage to retain the original curves.
Under a hood that seems to go on forever slumbers a 5.0-litre, supercharged V8 kicking out an impressive 600 hp after a few tweaks here and there.
Vizualtech says they’re willing to sell a limited number of the hand-made cars at an as-yet- undetermined price. We imagine it won’t come cheap though.
