Best Electric Vehicle: 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E

Once the dust settled from all the hullabaloo regarding Ford’s decision to go with the Mustang name for its all-electric crossover, we were left with… a mighty fine EV. And it withstands so pretty intense competition from a number of very new, very modern rivals to take it in this category, one we think will very soon have to be split into several if KBB is going to do justice to the fast-growing number of EVS being released onto the market.

What KBB liked:

- Lots of tech, and most of it latest-generation
- Driving enjoyment
- Quiet ride
- Roomy interior, particularly in front
- Quite a bit of bang for the buck
- Decent range
- Ford’s Co-Plot 360 included standard
- Performed well on safety tests
