Chevrolet Camaro

  • - 2017 Camaro: $29,395 to $69,300
  • - 2017 Camaro Cabriolet: $37,300 to $75,755

Chevrolet launched its legendary muscle car in 1966, which means the Camaro just celebrated its 50th birthday!

The current generation, the sixth for the Camaro, weds an ultra-modern design with fine-tuned performance technologies, including direct-injection powertrains. It’s also the lightest, sleekest and most aggressive Camaro ever built. See if it makes it into the list we put together of the top 10 best Camaros of all time!

Buyers can choose between a 2.0L, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine (275 hp), a 3.6L V6 (335 hp) and a jaw-dropping 6.2L V8 (455 hp). A 6-speed manual and an 8-speed automatic transmission are both available as well.

It’s worth mentioning the 1LE package designed for the track; this version includes a stiffer suspension, upgraded braking and cooling systems and GoodYear Eagle F1 tires. Need to stand out even more? Consider the exclusive 800-hp Yenko or the Redline edition.

Check out our review of the latest Camaro. If you’re charged up by high performance, take note that the 2017 Camaro ZL1 has officially become the fastest and highest-performing version of its model ever, thanks to its 6.2L supercharged V8 featuring an Eaton compressor with a new, more efficient heat exchanger. Result? 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. The optional automatic transmission has 10 speeds and is connected to paddle shifters on the steering wheel.
