Don’t miss the show during spring-break week!

The 2017 Quebec City Auto Show opens its doors to over 70,000 visitors at ExpoCité this week, from March 7-12 inclusively. Car lovers and potential buyers will be able to find the latest and upcoming new vehicles all under one roof.

Visitors to the show will be getting close-up looks at, among others, the Alfa Romeo Giulia, the Audi R8 V10 Spyder, Ford's Mustang and EcoSport and the Volkswagen Atlas, as well as the Hyundai Elantra GT, the Mazda CX-5, the Nissan Qashqai and the Toyota Camry.

The Silverwax Pavilion will be hosting the big luxury and exotic sports cars, including the Aston Martin DB11, the Bentley Bentayga and the Ferrari California T. Lamborghini, in the midst of celebrating its 100-year anniversary, will be centre stage with eight classic and new models on display such as a 1967 400 GT, a 2001 Diablo Roadster, a 2008 Murcielago, a 2017 Huracan Super Trofeo Race Car, a Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder and a Aventador Roadster LP 700-4.

More good news from show organizers: the free road tests are back. Registration for them will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. Roulez Passion offers the chance to get behind the wheel of a high-performance car like the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, the Porsche 911 Carrera S and the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4. Fans of off-roading will want to check out the special circuit put together for the event by BF Goodrich, where they can try out a truck or SUV, such as a Jeep Wrangler, Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Nissan TITAN or Toyota Tundra, in a challenging, exciting environment.

Don’t forget the test drives of electric vehicles that will be offered once again this year in partnership with CAA-Quebec. Eight models will be made available to visitors at the 2017 show: the Chevrolet Bolt EV and Volt, the electric version of the Hyundai Ioniq, the Kia Soul EV, the Mitsubishi i-MiEV, the Nissan LEAF, the electric version of the Ford Focus, and the BMW i3 REX.

Lastly, it’s worth noting that the opening of the 2017 Quebec City Auto Show will also mark the official launch of the Genesis brand in the Quebec City area. Beauport Hyundai will be managing operations for the brand until the new Genesis dealership opens this summer.
