Blainville-native Rémy Audette is inching ever close to the 2011 F2000 american title, but he still can't celebrate. Not yet anyway.

Coming to Watkins Glen, Audette knew he only had to take the green flag of one of the two races, held during the final double header program, October 15th and 16th.

On Saturday, he did take the start of the race – from pole – but, surprisingly, that wasn't enough.

If Audette is still waiting for the crown, it's because Tom Fatur forced the organizers to rearrange the schedule, following the heavy impact he sustained, minutes after the start of race 1.

Fatur collided heavily with the pit lane separator, and even though the driver escaped unharmed, the repairs the wall needed were so great, the race had to be postponed.

Race 1 and 2 will therefore be held Sunday, green flags set to drop at 11:25 AM and 3:55 PM.
