All of a sudden the German luxury car makers are seeing the attraction of the all-wheel-drive, so look for a bunch more models with safety and performance features in the years to come.
Right now, Audi pretty much as a lock on this business with its Quattro system, but there is the new BMW 330ix coming and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class with its 4Matic upgrade.
For once, Mercedes will move more heavily into this area since the new C-Class will get 4Matic in a couple of years and it will also turn up on the S-Class by about 2003.
