Yokohama is another Japanese tire manufacturer, and its flagship IG53 tire is coming back for the next cold season. Of course, it's a quality product for cars and smaller SUVs that doesn't need studs. Note that the previous version IG52 is still in the catalog and reviews and comments have always been positive in its regard. They’re a little cheaper than the IG53.

If it’s a performance tire you need, Yokohama offers the BluEarth Winter V905 which is wider but designed for maximum grip for performance or luxury cars. They are obviously more expensive.

In the case of SUVs and some other larger vehicles, Yokohama always has its Geolandar in its catalogs. They are covered in the section of the guide that covers tires for bigger SUVs, MUVs and pickups.
