Indy Lights series’ champion Jean-Karl Vernay was on track at the Sebring International Raceway with Conquest Racing to complete his first ever IndyCar test.
The test was mainly aimed at getting the Frenchman comfortable behind the wheel of the most powerful car he has driven so far in his career.
Eric Bachelart’s team was able to run flawlessly through its testing run plan while Vernay acclimated himself with the Honda-powered Dallara.
“It was a great day. I really enjoyed my time behind the wheel,” shared Vernay.
“It’s the most powerful car I have driven so it was definitely different to what I am use to.”
With this first test now in the books, the team that is looking to enter two cars once again in the IZOD IndyCar Series is anxiously awaiting the start of the new season.
