Gil de Ferran has made no secrets of his intention to run an IndyCar team next year, and according to reports, current champion and Team Target Ganassi driver Scott Dixon is high on his list of potential candidate.
The former Penske driver in both CART and IRL series and now owner of de Ferran Motorsports racing in the American Le Mans series, wants to hire Dixon to drive alongside Simon Pagenaud in what would be a two-car effort next season.
