Tony Stewart, the driver of the No. 14 Office Depot/Old Spice Chevrolet, set the best time Saturday morning in the first of two practice sessions for the NASCAR Sprint Cup held at the ost flat, one-mile New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

The 50-minute session was held under grey skies but the sun started the appear late in the session.
Stewart emerged fastest with a time of 20.19 seconds at the average speed of 130.488 mph.

Sam Hornish (time of 29.26 seconds) ranked second ahead of Jamie McMurray (27.26 seconds), Ryan Newman, Clint Bowyer, Kurt Busch, Mark Martin, Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne and Juan Pablo Montoya.
The Sprint Cup drivers will be back in action during the lunch hour.
