Special Paint Scheme and Carbon Fiber Hood set This Corvette Apart
While Chevrolet dealers will be quick to say that all Corvettes are special, the top-tier Z06 is just that much more special.
And how will they feel about the upcoming Commemorative Edition Z06, sporting the blue, red and silver color scheme of the Corvette C5-R racecars that ran at Le Mans this year? Very special indeed!

Only 2,000 Commemorative Edition Z06 Corvette's will be made with a price tag approximately $4,000 to $6,500 more expensive than the current $76,845 Z06 price tag.

The new version gets a carbon-fiber hood, a 4.8 kg (10.6 lb) weight savings, plus the retuned suspension system that will be available on all 2004 Corvette Z06 models.
If you like the look but don't want to spend the money necessary for the Z06, Chevy will offer the commemorative upgrades to the standard coupe and convertible.
