Last week at the New York International Auto Show, Volvo premiered five scale models that gave the audience a preview of exterior designs that the Swedish Automaker is potentially considering for a new small car. The displayed models ranged in size from 18-24 inches.
Attendants of the Auto Show were encouraged to answer a few questions on a touch screen located next to the models. This enables Volvo to cater to the needs of buyers when it comes to making a new car. "Concept Lab Volvo is something we utilized in the past, particularly for the XC90, to figure out what people are looking for in our future cars," Volvo spokesman James Hope commented.
Volvo enthusiasts can look forward to the new small car, slated to be smaller than the current 40 series, which is expected to debut in about 3 years.
