Equipped with the same twin-turbocharged horizontally-opposed 3.6-L engine driving all four wheels that the Turbo coupe enjoys, and same 6-speed manual or Tiptronic equipped, driver adaptable 5-speed automatic gearbox, the Turbo Cabrio promises to be a fresh blast of wind-in-the-hair fun.

Acceleration to 60 mph is said to be less than 4.3 seconds, with a top speed of 189 mph - the latter recommended with the top in place.
The folding cloth top will be power operated, with a deployment time expected to be in the 20 second range. Other features will include Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and four-piston, fixed-caliper, ceramic composite brakes.
