6— Porsche Panamera GTS
The three most interesting letters of the Porsche family are GTS, let’s be clear. So it was great to see Porsche present the most recent version of the Panamera GTS. With a 453-hp 4.0L V8 engine delivering 467 lb-ft of torque, this big family sedan promises wake-the-dead-level performance. 0-100 km/h acceleration takes 4.1 seconds and if you can find a deserted road somewhere it will take you to 292 km/h with its 8-speed PDK gearbox.
Of course, you will have guessed that each horsepower has its price. The Panamera GTS will arrive on the market in mid-2019 with a price tag starting at $146,200 for the sedan and $153,900 for the Sport Turismo model - before options.
