The Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum
Just as Ferrari has two museums in the Modena region, there are also two Lamborghini museums. The Museo Ferruccio Lamborghini, founded and designed by Ferruccio’s son Tonino, offers a very different experience from a classical museum.
Carpets on the floor, designer sofas placed between the vehicles - the atmosphere is warm and one loses the notion of time in this aesthetically pleasing place. Although it may seem strange, the most recent vehicle in the museum is a Diablo.
In addition to the classic 350 GT, Countach, Espada, Jarama, Urraco and Miura, the museum also features some unusual objects and vehicles.
On entering, you’re immediately drawn to a huge racing boat powered by two Lamborghini V12s, before coming upon an Espada prototype with butterfly doors similar to those of a Mercedes 300 SL.
The tour continues with a row of tractors, the first model of which was produced after the Second World War with British and American military parts.
Facing that tractor is a motorized children's car designed entirely by Ferruccio Lamobrghini for his son Tonino. The attention to detail is simply incredible - there are even warning lights and an oil temperature gauge!
The museum also houses a helicopter prototype, air conditioners, water heaters, heaters, etc., all stamped with the brand’s famed bull badge. An original conclusion to a museum that is original throughout.
