Ford

While the Blue Oval brand may not have as robust an EV lineup as its GM crosstown rival, both the Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning are solid, popular choices in their respective EV segments.
The Mach-E can be had in a variety of styles, ranging from a basic non-nonsense model to the be-striped and bewinged Rally version.
The F-150 Lighting, for its part, is as applicable for work and commercial needs as for everyday drivers, with features like Pro-Power Onboard generators, vehicle-to-load capability and all the bed access features the top-selling standard F-150 gets.
And let’s not forget: Ford is one of the first manufacturers to offer adapters for the Tesla Supercharger network.

GMC
Until the Sierra EV pickup arrives later this fall, if you want a GMC EV, there’s the massive, unadulterated and unapologetic Hummer. It comes available as an SUT pickup and in SUV form. Both can make up to 830 hp and over 500 km of range depending on spec, and both come with nifty party tricks like 10-degree rear-wheel steering and the ability to “crabwalk” diagonally to avoid certain obstacles.
These were the first vehicle to get GM’s Ultium battery tech and they sure have landed with an exclamation mark.
