Both the popular Bentayga SUV and the high-performance Flying Spur sedan are offered with plug-in tech. The SUV gets a 3.0L 6-cylinder engine good for 456 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque but gets the added benefit of being able to cruise in full-electric mode at speeds of up to 135 km/h meaning that even in EV mode, it’s no slouch.
The Flying Spur, meanwhile, gets a 100-kW electric motor and V6 turbo good for over 530 hp and over 550 lb-ft of torque. Add an 8-speed transmission, and you have a hybrid sportster befitting of the Bentley name.

The German luxury and performance brand is heavily invested in PHEV tech, offering four different models that come as plug-ins: the X3, X5 and XM SUVs as well as the 330e xDrive compact sedan.
You’ll notice then that the 5 series and 7 series PHEVs are gone, replaced by the i5 and i7 BEVs respectively. But nonetheless, if you’re looking for flexible PHEV tech, BMW has you covered. That goes for those looking for high-performance EV tech as well. The XM SUV gets a big 4.4L V8 plus an EV motor that together churn out a whopping 738 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque.
