Marc Lachapelle

Marc Lachapelle started out in automotive journalism as a contributor to The Car Guide in 1982. He returned there in 2008 after having launched and overseen the MSN Autos Canada websites for eight years. In 1994, he became the first Francophone journalist to be named Canadian Automobile Journalist of the Year, repeating the exploit in 2005. Marc is a member of the juries that present the North American Car & Truck of the Year (NACTOY) and International Engine of the Year (IEOTY) awards. In the auto racing domain, he has driven in the Honda-Michelin series, taken part on five occasions in the 24 Hours of Mosport, and successfully piloted the only hybrid car to take part in the Targa Newfoundland rally.
